Karaman Agriculture Based (Milk) Organized Industrial Zone that will be established on 250 ha land; will have 50 facilities with 5300 milch cow capacity.Strong livestock sector, due to region specific sheep breed and knowledge and experience from the past.Due to 4 feed facilities with large capacity and large grassland in the city; low feed cost.

27.Center of Education

The number of students per classroom in primary education in Turkey is 25, in Karaman this number is 17. While in the secondary education number of students per classroom is 23 in Turkey, this number is 18 in Karaman.Karaman ranked 9th in the transition to full-time education in Turkey.Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University takes its  place as an important instution with around 15000 students, 38 undergraduate degree, 66 associate degree and 27 graduate degree programs.

28. Karaman 2nd Organized Industrial Zone

In 2015 the application to establish the 2nd Industrial Zone in our province is sent to the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Total area of the 2nd Industrial Zone will be 194 hectares in order to meet the industrial investment demands in our province .

The geological survey report of the planned area is prepared by The Provincial Special Administration.

The Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry changed the legal status of  this area.But this change will be approved by The The Agriculture and Foresty Ministry. The process is in progress.
